Aero-Plan
Aero-Plan is a professional B2B platform that connects insurance companies with medical flight providers. The system simplifies the entire booking process in one place: insurance firms post flight requests, and aviation providers respond with availability and offers. By centralizing these interactions, the platform ensures that critical medical missions are coordinated quickly and efficiently.
The Mission
My goal was to modernize a 2013 old legacy system through a complete visual and structural overhaul. By reorganizing fragmented workflows and unifying the design language, I simplified the platform's complexity to create a more intuitive and efficient experience for users.

Pain Points
Legacy Complexity
An old system with a fragmented architecture and inconsistent screen structures that made navigation difficult.
Component Inconsistency
Buttons and UI elements appeared in different locations across screens, with misleading visual cues for interactivity.
Fragmented User Experience
Difficulties in tracking real-time flight statuses and performing core actions quickly due to a lack of visual hierarchy.
Outdated Interface
Inconsistent typography and color palettes that increased cognitive load and hindered daily professional use.
The Solution
Unified Design System
Established a clean, consistent UI with a monochrome base, standardized iconography, and fixed button placements for predictability.
Optimized Architecture
Redesigned screen headers to ensure critical actions (Approve, Cancel, Status) follow a fixed, logical flow across the platform.
Visual Harmony & Clarity
Reduced visual clutter by increasing white space and improving typography to enhance readability for complex forms and data tables.
Operational Continuity
Improved the user flow and navigation while maintaining the core business logic, ensuring a seamless transition without disrupting existing workflows.

Typography
A basic, clean typeface with minimal hierarchy, prioritizing rapid scanning and crystal-clear legibility for complex data.
Aa
A light weight for main text, providing a clean and airy reading experience.
Aa
A regular weight for small highlights and secondary details that need subtle focus.
Aa
A bold weight for titles and key actions to create a clear visual hierarchy.
Logo
Upgraded to a sharp, square-set sans-serif typeface. This refined geometric structure replaces the previous rounded style to project a more professional and precise brand identity.

Empty Leg Search:
Maximizing Efficiency
The Empty Leg feature is a strategic tool designed to optimize flight availability and reduce operational costs. By utilizing "ferry flights," the system offers a high-performance search experience that benefits both the budget and the timeline.
Cost Efficiency
Unlock premium flight solutions at a significantly lower price point by filling empty-capacity routes.
Sustainability & Optimization
Maximizing aircraft utility, ensuring fewer empty flights and a more efficient marketplace.
Time-Saving Search
A streamlined interface designed for rapid identification of available flights in real-time.
Economic Value
A powerful draw for clients, providing high-end logistics with maximum financial flexibility.

Better Vendor Management:
Simple & Fast
The original system was cluttered and required navigating between multiple screens. I redesigned it into a single, intuitive list where all provider details expand instantly in place. By adding simple visual icons to activate, block, or prioritize vendors, I made decision-making faster and easier—delivering a powerful management tool while staying within development constraints.

Personal Profile:
Design Consistency
User management is built with the same design language as the rest of the platform. By reusing core components and a unified layout, even administrative tasks feel intuitive and high-performance. This ensures a seamless transition for the user across every part of the system, keeping the experience familiar and clean.
