MyMedFlight | Product Overview
Modernizing medical aviation through a conversion-driven, search-first experience.
Role
Lead Product Designer (UX/UI & Strategy)
The Challenge:
Users in high-stress medical emergencies struggled with a complex, legacy lead-gen form that hindered quick decision-making.
The Solution:
Shifting the core UX from "Form-first" to "Search-first." By integrating real-time pricing and transparent flight options, we reduced friction and empowered users with immediate value.
Key Outcomes:
-
Transformed a traditional lead-gen flow into an intuitive, mobile-optimized booking experience.
-
Designed a scalable information architecture and design system for long-term growth
The Strategy: Shifting to Search-First
The Problem
Medical emergencies require fast answers, but the legacy platform forced users through lengthy inquiry forms before showing prices, causing massive drop-offs.
The Solution
We flipped the model from "Form-first" to "Search-first." Borrowing familiar travel-booking patterns, users can now instantly view flight options and estimated costs upfront.
The Business Value
Delivering immediate value built instant trust, reduced cognitive load during a crisis, and created a seamless path to conversion.

The Execution:
Scaling Globally
To bridge the gap between complex aviation logistics and a simple user experience, the process focused on three core pillars
Analysis & Mapping
Studied high-performing travel platforms to simplify complex medical forms into intuitive, user-centric flows.
Development Alignment
Worked in tight feedback loops with developers to ensure the design system remained scalable and production-ready.
Data-Driven Trust
Validated every design decision through real-world scenarios, ensuring the platform could handle global operations reliably.

Building a Scalable Visual System
Color
A palette of professional blue and green tones was selected to establish immediate credibility and calm. I introduced a high-contrast accent color to clearly prioritize key conversion actions and critical medical alerts.

Mobile-First Urgency
Since most users access the platform during a crisis on the go, the mobile experience was optimized for immediate utility.
I stripped away generic hero imagery, placing the search interface directly at the top of the screen. By maximizing touch targets and removing visual clutter, users can initiate a flight search and get estimates in under a minute.
